My baby turned 5
I can’t believe it but my baby turned 5 yesterday! Wow - he’s growing up so quickly!!! He had a fun-filled day to celebrate his birthday. At school he got to be king for the day and wear a cool crown and lead the students to the lunch room. His teachers gave him a book all about trucks that he was super excited about (he’s a major gear-head).
At home he got to pick what was for dinner (chicken and french fries) and than daddy brought home his cake and ice cream and presents!!! Dad did great shopping for him and got him 3 cool motorized cars whose lights flash and make those wonderful car noises that all moms of boys know so well! lol He also got a new lego set and big Hummer that has a tow hook and plow!! He’s in gear-head heaven! ROFL
We did have one little oopsy…my 10 year old DD dropped his cupcake cake. It was an accident and most of the cupcakes survived (landed in the lid) so we were still able to celebrate! Once he got the new cars and trucks, cake was about the last thing from his mind so he didn’t even seem to notice! LOL

Alpha Lovies
I’m really excited about this week’s new set - Alpha Lovies (4×4) ! This set contains 66 letters, numbers and accents in Lovie Form! There are so many things you can do with this set - the possibilities are endless!!! You can stuff them for bowl fillers, hang from a ribbon to create words and names or even make a 6 sided block! Also great for teaching our little ones about letters and numbers The set came to be because I wanted a WELCOME banner for my front door. Once I got rolling the Alpha Lovies were born!

It’s snowing AGAIN!!!
I want to know who ticked off Mother Nature cuz she is having a fit this year with all the snow, cold and ice!!! Brrrr We’re supposed to get hammered again today with snow. My girls’ troop has cancelled their food drive it’s supposed to get so bad! Thankfully we have 2 4-wheel drive vehicles or else we would never make it out of our driveway! Since we live in the middle of a cornfield there isn’t much in the way of wind-breakers so we get extremely bad drifts right in the middle of the driveway. The kids have been enjoying going out and playing in all the white stuff but I think even they’re getting a little tired of it.
I’m missing my camper right now! I’m ready to go veg out on the deck, throw some burgers on the fire and relax in the SUN!!!
